English Meadow Bouquet

Today we went out in the car for something other than food shopping the first time since the lockdown began (so it’s been more than 2 months).  I’ll blog about this later, but on our way home we stopped at a farm shop to get some food and I saw 2 lovely bouquets on sale, they were 15 pounds each.  It has a lot of flowers so it seems like a good price.  The flowers look like they are from an English Meadow or from a country cottage garden.  Although I do love flowers like peonies, which are very luxurious looking, I do also love these type of quiet flowers that my husband would call “weeds”.  The shop assistant told me that they’d just come in because someone’s wedding got cancelled. It does look like the type of flowers you would find on the tables at an English countryside wedding.
