２週間に１度届くはずのお花は、クリスマスの少し前からしばらく止まっていて、先週木曜日（本来火曜日）に久しぶりに届きました。鮮やかな黄色いカラーでした。黄色いお花はあまり好まないですが、リビングの暗い壁によく映えます。茎が短めであまりボリュームはなかったですが。

カラーは暗い色のものはとても好きですが、あまり保たないのが残念。幸い今は寒いので暖かいときのようにすぐに茎が腐ることはなかったのですが、お花の先の方から傷んできているようです。

Although we are supposed to receive flowers every 2 weeks, with Christmas, there hadn’t been any delivery until last week on Thursday (it’s usually Tuesday), they were yellow calla lilies.  Very bright.  Yellow flowers aren’t my favourite but they do look good with a dark background.  Unfortunately, the stems weren’t very long and they don’t look a lot as a bunch.

Although I do love calla lilies (dark colour ones are what I really love), sadly they don’t last long.  As it’s cold the stems don’t get rotten as quickly as they do when it was warm but the flowers are looking less fresh already.
