今日から７月ですね、もう今年も半年過ぎてしまいました。ふと気がつけば、１年で一番長い日も過ぎていて、既に少しずつ日没が早くなっています。一番長かったときは９時半ごろだったと思いますが、今日は９時１８分。日本は９月末まで暑いですが、イギリスは８月には既に秋を感じる気がします。

It’s July from today!  Already a half of the year has gone and I just realised that the longest day has gone, too.  The sunset was about 9.30pm just the other day but is 9.18pm today, so the days will get shorter and shorter.  In Japan, it’s always hot until at least end of September, but here in England I have a feeling that it starts feeling autumnal already in August.

今日のディナーは夏らしく、簡単で美味しい「私と夫と猫の幸せ生活」のポークとズッキーニ（このレシピ）でした。今日はポークの肩ロースが６００ぐラムほどありましたが、他は前回と大体同じくらいの量で作りました。今日は強力粉を使わずに、最後に片栗粉の水溶きを少し足してとろみをだしてみました。

Today’s dinner was “Pork with Zucchini” (this is the recipe but it’s only in Japanese), which is summery, easy and tasty.  We had about 600g of pork shoulder but other than than I used more or less the same amount of other ingredients as the last time.  I didn’t use strong flour this time, though, and used a corn starch and water mixture to make the sauce a little thicker.
