もう薔薇は終わりのようですが、少しだけまだ綺麗に咲いている薔薇もありました、よい香り。デイヴィット・オースティンの薔薇たち。

The roses were nearly finished but there were still some out, these were very fragrant. All from David Austin.

ランチの後は、坂道を下ってロープウェイの中間駅までお花を見ながら歩きました。どの花壇も規模は小さかったですが、お花を見ながら歩くので飽きませんでした。それほどの距離ではなかったです。

After lunch, we walked down the hill path to the middle station of the ropeway looking at the flowers as we went. Although the flower beds were not very large it was fun to see them. Not such a long distance.

コスモス畑。見渡す限り、という規模ではありませんが、綺麗でした。

Cosmos area. Not a large area but still very pretty.

とっても綺麗な蝶々。

疲れたら、ハンモックで休憩出来ます。

こちらのコスモス畑は、まだまだほとんどが硬い蕾でした。場所によって違うのか、それともわざと時期をずらして植えてあるのかもしれません。

The cosmos in this area were hardly out yet. I don’t know if it’s to do the position or they plant them at different time.

中間駅からロープウェイに乗り新神戸まで戻り、新神戸からマンションまで歩くことにしました。これが、結構きつかったです。途中まで一度上ってから下りになり、そしてまたしばらく上り。そして、とにかく暑かった！気温は21度とそれほど高い気温ではないですし日陰は涼しいのですが、歩くとやはり暑く、日陰でないところはパラソルを使っていても暑かったです。家に着く頃には、ヘロヘロでした。今日も、８５００歩歩きました。

So, we took the ropeway from the middle station back down to Shin Kobe, then we decided to walk back to the apartment. It was a bit tough for me, we had to walk up the slope for quite a while before walking down, then up again. Also it was so hot. The temperature was only 21C, which doesn’t sound very hot, but it was around 2:30pm, probably the hottest time of the day. Not bad in the shade but it felt very hot under the sun, even with a parasol, specially because we were walking up and down hills. I was exhausted by the time we got back. I am happy, though, that I walked 8,500 steps again today.
