Japan Holiday / Sandwiches From a Bakery

We have a table booked for dinner tonight but until then we don’t have any plan. Even though I cannot say we are really busy, comparing to when we are at home in England (where we tend to stay home a lot), we are out more. Besides, going away to Fukuoka/Yufuin/Fukuoka and back does somehow tire you a little, so we are taking it easy today.

It’s a sort of a housekeeping day – washing all the washings we brought back (lovely weather for washing), cleaning the floor, catching up with my blogging…

We went to a bakery near us to get some sandwiches for lunch. A set of egg and tomato, lettuce, ham sandwich each plus chicken katsu sandwich and curry bread (we had half each). All delicious. It’s so nice to have a good bakery nearby.

This is Chicken Katsu Sandwich,(matching my husband’s T-shirt) a little unusual in Japan because Pork Cutlet Sandwich is more popular.
