さて、インド旅行１日目。

シンガポール航空の夜便で朝ムンバイに到着。運転手さんとエージェントの方に迎えられて、お決まりのレイをかけてもらって出発。

So, the 1st day in India.  We flew from Singapore to Mumbai on Singapore Airlines on a night flight and arrived in the morning.  An agent representative and the driver welcomed us and gave us marigold leis.

この車はウダイプールからデリーまで使っていた車でムンバイでは違う車でしたが、ムンバイでも同タイプの車でした。ホテルまで、車で１時間ほど。

This car is what we had from Udaipur to Delhi but the car in Mumbai was the same type.  It was about an hour’s drive to the hotel.

空港でかけていただいた、マリーゴールドのレイ。

ホテルは、タージマハールホテル。こちらでは、貝のレイをかけていただきました。

The hotel we stayed at was the Taj Mahal Hotel.  At the hotel, they gave us these shell leis.

 

 

お部屋は広くはないものの、とても素敵でした。

Although our room wasn’t so large, it was very pretty and comfortable.

 

お部屋からは、インド門が見えます。

Gate of India could be seen from the windows of our room.

ホテルの内装がとにかく素敵。

The interior was so beautiful.

 

 

 

 

サービスも良かかったですし、わたしは今回滞在した中で一番好きなホテルでした。（夫が一番好きだったのは、また違うホテルでした。）

The service was also very good and it was my favourite hotel out of all the hotels we stayed at.  (My husband’s favourite was different.)
