今日はとっても良いお天気だったので、どこかに行って歩きたいね、ということで、アランデルに行き、湖の周りを歩きました。家から何分かの距離なので忘れてしまうのですが、アランデルは結構な観光地なので夏は人が多くなります、今日は土曜日でお天気も良かったので尚更。駐車場もとても混んでいました。駐車場から往復３キロちょっと。太陽は雲に隠れたり出て来たり。湖の周りは概ね木の影になり風もあって涼しく歩くのに丁度良い気候でしたが、太陽が出ると影のないところを歩くとかなり暑く感じました、それでも２４度くらいだったと思います。月曜日、火曜日は２６、７度まで上がる予報になっています。
It was such lovely weather today, so we wanted to go out and walk somewhere after lunch and decided to go around Swanbourne Lake in Arundel. We tend to forget it because it’s so near us but Arundel gets lots of tourists specially in the summer and it’s Saturday today so even busier, it took us a while to find a parking spot. We walked a little more than 3km from the parking lot and back including the walk around the lake. The sun was sometimes out and sometimes hidden by clouds, it was lovely around the lake most of the time as you get nice shade from the trees but out in the sun it felt quite hot, I think it was about 24C. Apparently it’ll go up to 26C or 27C on Monday and Tuesday.
この手前にカフェがあります。鳥たちがたくさんいて、カフェでは鳥の餌も売っています。
There is a cafe this side of the lake and you can buy bird food to feed the birds.
湖にはいくつかのグループがボートを漕いで楽しそうでした。
We saw a few groups enjoying rowing boats on the lake.
向こう側に見えているのが、カフェ。ぐるっと歩いて来て、反対側からの景色です。
