今年も、新しいオリーブオイルの季節になりました！１５年くらい毎年送っていただいている、オーガニックのエクストラバージンオリーブオイル(San Potente)を今年も入手することが出来ました。いつもは送っていただいているので、オリーブオイルより送料の方がかかるという状況でしたが、今年はローマのお友達のお家に送っていただいたのをスーツケースに入れて持って帰って来ました。ボトルなので多少心配もありましたが、全て無事に着き、早速今日、パンにつけていただきました。色もですがお味もとってもグリーンで美味しいです！

It’s the new olive oil time now.  We’ve been purchasing organic extra virgin olive oil from Umbria (San Potente) for about 15 years and we were able to get some again this year.  We usually ask them to send it to our house wherever we are living at the time (used to be Hong Kong, then Singapore and now England) and the shipping costs us more than the oil, but this year we asked them to send it to our friends in Rome, so we could pick it up there and bring it home ourselves.  We carefully wrapped each of the 12 bottles and spread them among our 2 suitcases.  We were a little worried about them breaking but they all arrived safely.  We tried a little of it with bread tonight, it is delicious.  Like the colour of the oil, it tastes very green and very fresh.
