Pizza Party

Hoi An Trip / Day 1 / Dinner At “Morning Glory”
日本語で出ているガイドブックにはそれほどたくさんは載っていませんが、ホイアンには、わたしが躊躇してしまうようなローカルの道端に座って食べるようなところではなく、躊躇せずに入れるくらいには小綺麗なところだけでも数えきれないくらいのレストランやカフェがありました。１０年以上前にハノイに、８年ほど前にホーチミンに行きましたが、それからハノイやホーチミンも随分変わったのでしょうね。当時は小綺麗なレストランはとても少なかったですし、おしゃれなカフェも少なかったです。それに比べてホイアンは本当にたくさんあって、特にガイドブックがなくてもぶらぶらしながら気が向いたお店に入れるという感じです。それだけ観光地化されていて、外国人の数も多いですし英語もそこそこ通じますし、海外初心者でも心配なくうろつけるところ、という気がします。ほぼテーマパーク状態と言っても良いくらい、古い町並みの辺りはレストラン、カフェ、お土産やさんだらけです。なので、そういう観光地化されているところが苦手な方は避けた方が良いと思いますが、わたしは妹と旅行するには楽で良いと感じました。 Although there aren’t many restaurants/cafe listed in Japanese guidebooks, we were spoiled by the choices of restaurants and cafes in Hoi An. ホイアンは、月に1度のランタンフェスティバルで有名で、フェスティバルの日は灯篭が流れる川が綺麗みたいですが、凄い人になるようです。普段の日でも随分な人なので、人混みが苦手なわたし達は普段の日で良かった。普段の日も町中に吊るしてあるランタンの灯りが綺麗です。 The Hoi An Lantern festival is very famous and is held once a month.
