今日のディナーは、Hello Fresh の「Pork Kofta Gyros with Naan Bread, Homemade Tzatziki and Tomato Salad（ポークコフタのギュロス、ナン、ホームメイドザジキとトマトサラダ）でした。 Today’s dinner was ” Pork Kofta Gyros with Naan Bread, Homemade Tzatziki and Tomato Salad ” from Hello Fresh. ギュロスというのはギリシャのファーストフードで、トルコのケバブのようにお肉をスライスしたものやお野菜などをフラットブレッドに包んでいただくもののようです。今日は、ミンチポークにスモークパプリカ、ドライオレガノ、ニンニク、レモンの皮、塩胡椒したものをミートボールにして焼いたもの、ザジキ（ヨーグルオtにキュウリ、ガーリック、レモンの皮、ミント、塩胡椒したもの）、トマトのサラダ（角切りのトマトにはちみつ、レモン汁、塩胡椒したもの）、レタスの千切り、赤タマネギの即席ピクルス（薄切りの赤タマネギにサイダービネガー、砂糖、塩を混ぜて少し置いたもの）、レモン汁、ミントをナンにのせていただきました。ポテトはオーブンで焼いて、フェタチーズをのせてさらに少しオーブンで焼いています。（わたしはポテトはフェタチーズなし、ザジキはかけずに添えました。夫はレシピの通り。）とても美味しかったです。ただ、ナンはお腹いっぱいになってしまうので、ピタパンの方が良いかなと思いました。 Apparently, Gyros is a fast food in Greece. Waffles For Lunch
今日はランチにワッフルを焼いてみました。とても久しぶりのワッフル。 ユーチューブでタイ料理のレシピの参考に拝見している Hot Thai Kitchen で時々タイ料理以外のものも紹介されていて、少し前にワッフルのレシピの紹介があり美味しそうなので焼いてみました。このレシピの特徴は、小麦粉にコーンスターチを混ぜることとヨーグルトを混ぜること。バターミルクの代わりにヨーグルトとミルクを使われるそうです。レシピや作り方はこちらをご参考になさってください。（ワッフルメーカーは、クイジナートのものです。分厚いワッフルが焼けるタイプでなくては、上手く焼けないそうです。） We had waffles for lunch today, it’s been many years since we made waffles at home. ロックダウン中あれこれ不便なことはありますが、一番不便なのは美容院や理容院に行けないことです。何週間か前に夫に髭のトリマーで刈ってほしいと言われましたが、怖くてできませんでした。なにしろわたしは不器用で、シンガポールにいるときに一度日本のバリカンセットを簡単そうと思って買ったもののなかなか使う勇気が出ず、美容師さんをしていたお友達にやり方を教えてもらったときにちょっとだけしてみたらぐいっと一部短かくなってしまった経験があるのです。そのときはお友達が上手く修正してくれましたが、今回はそれもできませんし。それでずっとハサミで下の方だけを切っていましたが、もういよいよどうにかせねば、という形になってしまったので、夫がバリカンを買いました。これです。 During the lockdown, there are a few inconvenient things but the worst thing for us is probably not to be able to have our hair cut. ２週間に１度の定期便のお花、今回はピンクのピオニーでした。嬉しい！昨日到着したときは全部固い蕾だったのですが、花瓶に入れた途端に緩み始めて昨日のうちに徐々に開いていて、今朝起きたら全部がずいぶん開いていました。家の中は２４度あるので、あっという間に開いてしまうのがちょっと残念、もう少しゆっくり咲いてくれると長く楽しめるのですけど。１０本ですが、ピオニーは咲くと大きくなるのでとてもボリュームがあります。これは、香りも良いタイプ。 The flowers delivered this week were pink peonies! House Renovation – Chairs & Table In The Kitchen

Peonies Fading
やはり、今朝見たらピオニーの１つが散り始めていました。ピオニーはよくお花の頭ごとどさっと落ちてしまうのですが、今の所、このピオニーは外側にぐるりとある大きな花びらは散らずに中の小さな花びらがはらはらと散っています。 As I expected, the petals of one of the peonies started to fall off during the night. Peony Update Again
ピオニー、２つ３つ蕾が残っていますが、あとは綺麗に開いています。満開らしきお花もたくさん。他のピオニーとは違う開き方で、素敵です。多分、そろそろ最初に咲いたのが落ちてしまう頃だと思うので、今日がベストかも（少し暗くなりかけてから撮ったので、ブレてます。） Another update on the peonies.
