昨日のデザートにオーブンで焼いた（というか、ベーキングシートにお砂糖と一緒にのせてアルミフォイルで包んで蒸し焼き）ルバーブがまだ余っているので、お昼のあと、夫がカスタードと生クリームをのせて食べました。わたしはルバーブはあまり好きじゃないので、夫だけ。昨日よりも綺麗なピンク色になっていました。トッピングは、くこの実。 There is still some rhubarb left from yesterday so my husband had it with some custard and whipped cream with dried goji berreis on top. I don’t like rhubarb very much so just my husband. It looked much more pink than yesterday.

House Renovation – Craft Room
クラフトルームの読書コーナー、スカーティングボード（壁と床の合わさる部分を隠すボード）が取り付けられたので、更にお部屋らしくなりました。ライトも取り付け官僚。あとは、本棚の端にメタルのサポートを取り付けるのと、マットレスとクッションをオーダーしたら完成。 The reading nook in the craftroom is almost done, the skirting board has been installed and the light has also been fixed in place so the room is looking more finished. “Picnic” At Home
今日の夕食は、ハム、サラミ、チーズ、サラダなど冷たいものをつまみました。以前、こういう食事の時は「おうちピクニック」と呼んでいて、イギリスに来てからは「プラウマンズ」と呼んでいますが、プラウマンズは本来チーズとパン、そこにハムやソーセージロールなどとピクルスがついたり、パブによっては少しサラダもついたり、というもので、もう少し軽い食事のイメージ。なので、「おうちピクニック」にします（笑）。 ピンク・シャンパンのハーフボトルといただきました。 Today’s dinner was “Picnic” at home. Tulips
今回の２週間に１回のお花は、チューリップでした。濃いピンクの八重のタイプ。比較的背が高いお花ですし椅子のカバーの色とも合うので、今回はリビングルームではなく、ダイニングテーブルの上で楽しんでいます。 The subscription flowers this time were tulips, multiple layer type in dark pink. As they are relatively short and the colour goes well with the chair covers, we are enjoying them on the dining table this time rather than in the living room.

Garden Update
表玄関の両脇に置いている鉢に夫が植えてくれた水仙やチューリップ、徐々に成長して、水仙は１つ咲きました。背が低くて下を向いて咲いているのでお花の写真はiPhoneを上に向けて撮るような形で撮りにくかったです。片方の鉢の方が陽が当たるので片方の方が早く成長しています。 We can see that the spring bulbs like narcisus and tulips my husband planted in the pots we have at the main entrance are growing. Thai Dinner (Meal Kits)
「Thai Apron」（タイで生まれてマンチェスターで育った方が個人でされている宅配ビジネスのようです）というところからタイ料理のミール・キットをオーダーしてみました。オーダーしたのは、春巻き、ポーク のサテー、チキンのラーブ（サラダ）、パッタイの４品、それぞれ２人分ずつ入っています。春巻きとポーク サテーはそれぞれ６つずつ入っていたので、春巻きは４つ、ポーク サテーは２つ今日使いチキンのラーブといただいて、春巻き２つ、ポーク サテー４つ、パッタイは来週使うことにしてお肉類は冷凍しました。 We ordered some meal kits from “Thai Apron”. House Renovation – Craft Room
クラフトルームの工事、大分進んで、本棚部分のペイントも塗られたのでかなり最終的な様子に近づいてきました。窓と反対側の壁部分の棚作りも完成。わく、わく！ The work on my craft room is going well. Now that the bookshelf area has been painted, the room looks closer to what it will look after all is done. The lefthand side’s walls have been completed with shelves and the work top. Penne in Tomato & Cream Sauce
予想通り雨が降って、じとじとした鬱陶しい１日でした。明日も降水確率高です。 As forecasted, it’s been a very wet day today.
