毎日あれこれあって、昨日は何をしたのかさっと思い出せません（笑）。シンガポールでは、夫はお仕事、わたしは家に１日いてコンピューターを触って、本を読んでいるか、途中お友達とランチをして、戻って来たらブログをしてご飯を作って終わり、土曜日は一緒にランチに出て食料品を帰って戻ったらそれぞれに好きなことをして、夕食は夫が作ってくれて終わり、日曜日は大抵１日家にいる、そんな１週間でした。ここでは毎日いくつもしなくてはいけないことがあり、バタバタと過ぎて行きます。まだ、来て以来１日出かけなかった日はありません。生活の基盤が出来ていないので買い物や手続きやオーダーや、なんだかんだと忙しい。今日は夫が一人で用を済ませに出てくれているので、わたしは久しぶりにのんびりした朝。いや、まだまだ家でしなくてはいけないことはあるのですが。 There are so many things we do every day, I cannot remember what we did yesterday easily. Minestrone Soup
今日の夕食は、家にあるものでミネストローネスープを作りました。今日はわたしがシェフで夫がアシスタント（笑）。 入れたのは、玉ねぎ、にんにく、セロリ、人参、じゃがいも、バタナッツスクウォッシュ、パッサータ、ベイリーフ。最後にパルメジャンチーズをすりおろしてかけて、オリーブオイルをちょろっとかけて、黒胡椒をひいて出来上がり。美味しく出来ました！ただ、バターナッツスクウォッシュが全然美味しくないのですよね〜。日本のかぼちゃが欲しいです。 For dinner today, we cooked Minestrone soup with what we had at home. Moved In!
先週金曜日に船便の荷物の搬入がありましたが、今日まではお友達に貸していただいていたコテージに寝泊りしていました。家から車で1時間半前後かかるので運転する夫は大変だったと思いますが、近くのホテルに泊まるより費用が安いのはもちろんのこと、食事も作れますしリラックスもできたので助かりました。イギリスに着いて４日目から3週間弱(途中ロンドンに行きましたが)お借りしましたが、思っていたよりリノベーションの件で家にいる必要があったり買い物に出なくてはいけなかったり、船便が思っていたより早く着いたこともあって、ニューフォレストを楽しむ時間がなかったのは残念でしたが、家から少し離れたところにしばらく滞在するのも楽しかったです。 Our shipment arrived and boxes were unloaded a week ago but we have been sleeping at the cottage in the New Forest that we have been renting from our friends until this morning.
